DM to Execute the Recovery Certificates in two months: Allahabad High Court

Allahabad High Court came to the rescue of aggrieved allottees/home buyers who had been waiting endlessly for a long time to get their RERA Recovery Certificates executed. High Court was pleased to pass favourable orders directing the District Magistrate, Gautam Budh Nagar to execute the Recovery Certificates passed by the UP RERA to its logical conclusion, as expeditiously as possible, in a time-bound manner of preferably two months.

Homebuyers more often than not face trouble with the execution of the Recovery Certificates and this part of the process becomes long drawn out. Even after securing favourable judgments from RERA Authorities and acquiring Recovery Certificates, just when the homebuyers feel a sense of justice, the delay in the execution of the same brings frustration for most of them. In such circumstances, getting a direction from the High Court can be seen as a sign of relief and assurance for the homebuyers that they shall receive their dues in a specific time-bound manner without any undue delay.
